Templates

The Templates page is your organisation's library of After Effects template packages, ready to use in flows. (For building and packaging a template, see the Templates overview.)

The gallery#

Templates display as tiles with a hover preview, the comps they contain (with dimensions and duration) and their file size. Switch between Grid view and List view, and narrow the gallery with the filter box.

Tiles show a status while something is happening: uploading, processing, failed, or blocked.

Adding templates#

Click Upload template or drag a .zip package anywhere onto the gallery; the full walkthrough is in Uploading a template.

The tile menu#

• Open: the template's details, comps and dynamic fields.
• Download .zip: retrieve the exact package.
• Replace package: upload a new version; the current one keeps working until the new package validates.
• Block / Unblock: a blocked template can't be used in new flows, without deleting anything.
• Delete: removes the template permanently. Select several tiles for bulk deletion; templates that are currently rendering are skipped and reported.
